The Ventus

One-of-a-kind handcrafted wood sculpture featuring beautiful teak driftwood, sustainably sourced from Indonesia. Ventus is Latin for "wind." This piece captures the continuous fluid motion of coastal timber, honoring wood that's been smoothed and shaped by atmospheric forces over time. I crafted it from rich Indonesian teak driftwood, adding vibrant crushed turquoise inlays that stream across the deep, organic grain lines like sea breezes sweeping across the coast. Grounded on a solid teak base with hidden metal supports, it perfectly balances raw, weathered textures with a clean, contemporary silhouette.
