The Tripus

One-of-a-kind handcrafted wood sculpture featuring beautiful teak driftwood, sustainably sourced from Indonesia. Tripus translates to "three-legged" or "tripod" in Latin, reflecting the natural equilibrium and ascending balance of this piece. I handcrafted this from richly weathered wood that splits and reaches skyward in three-pointed harmony. Slender veins of crushed turquoise run down its vertical limbs, glistening like hidden mineral deposits against the warm, honey-gold grain. I elevated it on clean steel supports above a thick, live-edge wood base to give it an airy poise that catches light from every angle. It’s a captivating sculpture that brings organic symmetry and Southwestern warmth to an executive sideboard or mantel.
