The Pluma

One-of-a-kind handcrafted wood sculpture featuring beautiful high-alpine driftwood, sustainably sourced from the Colorado rockies. Pluma translates to "feather" in Latin, which perfectly captures the weightless, fluid feel of this piece. I crafted it from high-elevation Rocky Mountain driftwood, and I love how the fierce alpine winds naturally carved the heavy timber into such a delicate, soaring shape. It has these smooth, sweeping lines that naturally evoke the curve of a fallen feather. To highlight that movement, I added gold leaf inlays along the polished grain that catch the light beautifully. It’s an elegant, refined sculpture that brings a quiet sense of luxury and radiant warmth to an interior space.
