The Lucerna

One-of-a-kind handcrafted wood sculpture featuring beautiful high-alpine driftwood, sustainably sourced from the Colorado rockies. Lucerna is Latin for "beacon," which feels fitting for a piece that literally brings light into a room. I crafted this table lamp from high-elevation Rocky Mountain driftwood, blending functional lighting with raw, organic sculpture. I followed the wood's natural curves with taupe inlays containing delicate gold flecks, giving the base a subtle shimmer as you walk by. Paired with a modern white shade, it casts a warm, inviting glow that perfectly highlights the depth and weathered texture of the timber beneath it. It’s a beautiful way to bring mountain history and modern elegance to a side table.
