The Gazella

One-of-a-kind handcrafted wood sculpture featuring beautiful Arizona desert driftwood, sustainably sourced from the Sonoran desert. Gazella is Latin for "gazelle," capturing the fluid, leaping energy and swift, weightless grace of desert life bound in weathered wood. Handcrafted from genuine Arizona mesquite driftwood, this abstract wall sculpture features sweeping forms that seem to float effortlessly. I filled the deep cracks and fissures with crushed turquoise inlays, metallic accents, and a clear protective resin. I also integrated LED backlighting to cast a soft, warm halo around the piece, illuminating its rich textures and dramatic lines day or night.
