The Arcus

One-of-a-kind handcrafted wood sculpture featuring beautiful high-alpine driftwood, sustainably sourced from the Colorado rockies. Arcus gets its name from the Latin word for "arch" or "bow," and it's all about natural tension and balance. I handcrafted this piece to celebrate how living wood bends against the sky to form a sweeping, bridge-like curve. The layered grain and warm, golden-brown tones really define its shape. I mounted it securely on a sleek, matte black rectangular base to give the fluid form a sharp, modern contrast, which helps accentuate the organic texture of the aged wood. It’s a grounding, calming focal point that brings quiet depth and balance to an entry console, mantel, or a minimalist shelf.
